I'm looking for someone with a passion for life and wonderment. Someone mentally mature who has been through the trials of life, but has maintained the childlike zest and playfulness that I share.
Someone who understands what I do on a day to day level would be nice, so as not to be completely bored by the answer to the traditional, 'how was your day dear?' that might become a discussion if we were to progress to that next level.
Since I what I do as a day job is something classified as 'geeky' or 'nerdy', I like to use the remaining time I live in things more creative, artsy, or 'right-brainedly'. I enjoy photography and occasionally dabble in moving pictures, and music. I also enjoy writing for my own enjoyment (and occasionally the enjoyment of others). I also enjoy being active since I also spend my day job being quite sedentary. Someone who can understand this balance and has their own creative individual pursuits would be ideal. :)
Someone who would entertain and partake in the never ending 'why are we here in this big big universe?' type conversations with me is essential. If you can't wonder and open your mind with me, that is almost certain death for our romantic relationship as my mind likes to frequently travel beyond itself to realms that might make the 'normal' head spin into delightful madness and inspiration.
I like adventures both big and small. If we are walking along a trail and spot something interesting off the beaten path, lets go and explore and see where it takes us. But you must also have to have enough sense to not throw all caution to the wind and off a cliff.. I'm a bit older now and probably wouldn't do things I did in my early 20s.. Rational sensibility can be sexy too :)
And that leads me to sex! I've had all sorts of ideas about sex, but I have learned that all-n-all it is very important! Not the mindless bumping and grinding mechanics of it all, but the type of intimacy you can gain from it. If all the other elements above align just right and we connect on a sexual level, then wow, what more could I ask for?
And what of the future? I'm willing to go anywhere that manifestation of love may take us. I'm open to building a family and future with anyone that opens their heart and mind to the awesome possibilities two human beings can create.
